I’ll add to this soon, but for know the first leg of our journey to Africa is complete. We are now at SeaTac to start leg two to Houston.
Oregon was great. We celebrated birthdays, went to a Chinese Garden, drank tea and ate moon cake. There was a dragon dance and a lantern parade, all celebrating Chinese New Year.
It was an odd feeling sitting in church yesterday. Not being in church, but no responsibilities except worship. And no thoughts of going home to pick-up responsibility at home. Africa is ahead, but several weeks away so for now I simply move where the calendar says. So Kingwood, TX, here we come.
